Large number of economic data and the U.S. indicates that demand for crude oil inventory data expected to increase, crude oil futures rose on Thursday to close at 91 dollars a barrel.
The New York Mercantile Exchange, February crude oil futures rose 1.03 cents, to $ 91.51 a barrel, or 1.1%, the highest front-month contract since Oct. 3, 2008 has been high. This week crude oil futures rose by 4%.
U.S. commodity markets were closed Friday because of Christmas.
