Bouygues said that the financial contribution to Alstom's net income in first quarter of 2011 come out 23 million euros against 115 million euros in the first quarter of 2010.
For the record, in the fourth quarter of 2010, Alstom's contribution included a net provision of EUR 66 million (part of Bouygues) for the restructuring plan announced by Alstom in October 2010 and incorporated in the accounts of the second half of 2010 / 11 Alstom. The contribution of 23 million euros in the first quarter of 2011 include the reversal of such provision.
The conglomerate said that based on available information, the financial contribution to Alstom's net income can be estimated at 71 million euros in the second quarter of 2011 against 101 million euros in the second quarter of 2010.
